Electronics / Mechanical Engineer – Product Development & Display Technologies

Are you an Electronic Engineer or Mechanical Engineer with initial experience in product development and an interest in display technologies?

We are looking for a Display Technology Engineer to contribute to the development and integration of next-generation display solutions within an international technology environment.

This is an opportunity to combine hands-on engineering, product innovation and technology development, working on display integration and exploring new technologies to bring innovative concepts to life.

Your responsibilities:

• Develop and integrate display technologies into customer-specific HMI solutions.
• Explore and evaluate new technologies, including TFT, OLED, touch solutions and cover glass.
• Research, test and validate new materials, components and technical concepts.
• Drive innovation projects from initial concept through to product introduction.
• Collaborate with international suppliers, technology partners and internal engineering teams.
• Identify emerging market trends and translate them into practical product solutions.
• Contribute to the development of the group's HMI technology roadmap and share your technical expertise with colleagues and customers.

Your profile:

• Bachelor's degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or a related technical field.
• Initial experience in product development.
• An interest in electronics, display technologies, mechanical integration or HMI solutions.
• A combination of electronic and mechanical engineering knowledge would be a strong advantage.
• Good command of Dutch and English.
• A hands-on, analytical and proactive approach, with a genuine curiosity for new technologies.
• Some software knowledge would be a plus, but this is not a software development role.

Location: Northeast Netherlands – daily on-site presence is required due to the hands-on nature of the role and access to testing facilities.
