Electronics Repair Technician

Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Electronics Repair Technician to join our innovative team. In this role, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of electronic equipment and systems. This position will require extensive training, working with a direct manager to refine your existing skills and apply them to a very unique field. Someone with a strong DC electrical background and mechanical aptitude will excel to meet our expectations.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive electrical diagnostics using specialized tools such as oscilloscopes, voltmeters, ohmmeters, and multimeters to identify faults in electronic systems.
• Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and parts diagrams to accurately diagnose mechanical and electrical challenges.
• Repair and maintain robotic inspection equipment; including mechanical drive systems, camera systems, automated cable drums, AC power systems, and Computer controls.
• Conduct system testing to verify repairs and ensure optimal performance and the utmost reliability of the inspection equipment.
• Utilize hand tools and soldering techniques for precise electrical soldering, component replacement, and circuit modifications.
• Provide field service support by making repairs to operational units as challenges arise with our operators.
• Maintain detailed documentation of repair procedures, diagnostics results, and service reports to ensure transparency and accountability.

Experience

• Proven experience as a service technician or electronics repair technician with a strong background in electrical diagnostics and troubleshooting.
• Hands-on experience with electronic equipment testing tools such as oscilloscopes, voltmeters, ohmmeters, and schematics reading devices.
• Familiarity with AC/DC electrical systems, low voltage wiring, electrical blueprint interpretation, and mechanical breakdowns.
• Demonstrated ability to perform electrical repairs on various electronic devices with precision and safety awareness.
• Knowledge of computer hardware maintenance and basic networking principles is preferred.
• Mechanical aptitude combined with engineering troubleshooting skills to resolve complex electronic and mechanical system issues efficiently.
• Excellent communication and documentation skills to manage your workload affectively.

Pay: $20.00 - $28.00 per hour
