Electronics Technical Sourcing Specialist

·         Monitor and analyze global procurement and market trends, particularly for electronic components, to identify sourcing opportunities and potential supply risks.

·         Conduct strategic analysis of pricing, market conditions, supplier capabilities, and cost drivers to support procurement decisions.

·         Develop and implement sourcing strategies in alignment with the company's business objectives and procurement goals.

·         Lead commercial negotiations and manage long-term supplier agreements to achieve competitive pricing and favourable commercial conditions.

·         Identify, evaluate, select, and develop new suppliers based on quality, cost, delivery, capacity, technology, and business requirements.

·         Manage supplier relationships and monitor supplier performance to ensure quality, delivery, cost, and supply continuity requirements are met.

·         Collaborate with Engineering, R&D, Quality, Operations, Logistics, and other functions in cross-functional product development and sourcing projects.

·         Maintain accurate and up-to-date site-specific procurement and supplier master data within ERP systems.

·         Identify and implement cost-saving and efficiency improvement opportunities while maintaining required quality and business requirements.

·         Monitor supplier and market developments and proactively address potential supply chain risks and procurement challenges.

·         Provide procurement expertise and support during new product development, supplier qualification, and component selection activities.

·         Ensure agreed sourcing strategies, negotiated conditions, and supplier agreements are effectively implemented and maintained.

Qualifications & Experience

·         Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Business Administration, or a related discipline. Equivalent combination of education and relevant experience may also be considered.

·         Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in procurement, strategic sourcing, or management of electronic components.

·         Strong understanding of electronic components, supplier markets, pricing structures, and sourcing practices.

·         Working knowledge of global procurement and supply chain practices.

·         Experience in supplier selection, development, performance management, and commercial negotiations.

·         Experience in negotiating and managing long-term supplier agreements is an advantage.

·         Experience working with ERP systems and procurement-related master data.

·         Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and able to learn and effectively use function-specific software and systems.

·         Good command of English, both written and spoken.
