Electronics Technician

We are seeking Electronics Technicians to join our contract in LaMoure, ND.

Individuals shall possess the ability to successfully perform corrective and preventive maintenance on telecommunications/electronic transmitter and receiver equipment, computer systems, network systems, fire alarm systems, CCTV and Intrusion Detection systems (IDS), modems, and other ancillary electronic equipment; complete supply documentation required to acquire required repair/replacement parts; demonstrate abilities to perform circuit board repairs in accordance with commercial standards; and assist with operating and maintaining station facilities systems. Individuals shall possess the ability to mentor lower-level technicians on the operations, maintenance, testing and troubleshooting of station communications/facilities equipment. Individuals must possess the physical ability to perform climbing duties, freedom from fear of heights, and possess normal depth perception and balance. Additional duties include site clean-up, lawn and yard maintenance, snow removal, and other tasks assigned by the Site Manager or Lead Technician.

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Operate and maintain Site equipment, to include but not limited to: Electronics Systems, HVAC, Fire Suppression Systems and, Emergency Power systems.
• Generate and maintain detailed logs and reports.
• Mentor lower level technicians.
• Keep Lead Technician, Site Manager and Technical Director informed of all abnormal situations.

The individual selected should possess the following skills:

• Be self-motivated.
• Be prepared to study and learn both old and new technologies.
• Possess the ability to respond rapidly to emergent situations.
• Ability to work a rotating schedule

Position requirements include:

• A minimum of (4) years of specialized experience in diagnosing and correcting malfunctions and performing organizational-level maintenance on electronics and equipment and systems.
• A minimum of (2) years experience in the operation and maintenance of high-power transmission equipment (with power output greater than 1,000 watts) and systems at a military or commercial transmitter site.
• Secret Clearance
• CSWF specialty code 411, beginner level
