Electronics Technician

Responsibilities

• Utilize diagnostic tools such as oscilloscopes, voltmeters, ohmmeters, and multimeters to identify electrical faults and troubleshoot complex electronic systems.
• Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and engineering diagrams to accurately diagnose issues and guide repairs.
• Perform electrical diagnostics on AC/DC electrical systems, ensuring proper operation and safety compliance.
• Repair, maintain, and test electronic equipment including computer hardware, control panels, and low voltage systems.
• Conduct field service visits to troubleshoot and resolve issues on-site for clients across various industries.
• Solder electrical components using proper techniques for circuit repairs or modifications, ensuring high-quality connections.
• Use hand tools effectively for disassembly, assembly, and repair of electronic devices while adhering to safety standards.
• Assist in the testing of electronic systems and equipment to verify functionality after repairs or maintenance.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to troubleshoot complex electronic systems and implement solutions efficiently.
• Provide excellent customer service by communicating technical information clearly and ensuring client satisfaction during service calls.

Experience

• Proven experience as an electronics technician or service technician working with electronic equipment repair and maintenance.
• Hands-on experience with electrical troubleshooting using diagnostic tools such as oscilloscopes, multimeters, and schematics interpretation.
• Familiarity with AC/DC electrical systems, low voltage wiring, and electrical blueprint reading is essential.
• Demonstrated ability to perform soldering tasks including electrical soldering for circuit repairs or modifications.
• Experience in field service operations involving customer interaction and on-site troubleshooting is highly desirable.
• Knowledge of computer hardware components and basic networking principles is a plus.
• Mechanical aptitude combined with electrical troubleshooting skills enables effective problem-solving across diverse electronic systems.

Pay: $30.00 - $35.00 per hour
