Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Electronics Technician to join our dynamic team at Cytronex. In this role, you will be responsible for building, repairing, and testing electronic components and battery packs for the Cytronex kit. Your expertise and attention to detail will ensure the reliability and performance of our products, supporting our mission to deliver seamless, silent, and efficient power assistance solutions. The ideal candidate will be looking for a varied position where they are not a small cog in a big wheel and instead really make an impact, with the potential to develop a strong career path. They will also possess strong mechanical knowledge, have the ability to solder proficiently, and have IT experience using spreadsheets and using email for example. . A strong work ethic is vital as we work with a small team to deliver high quality kits to our customers.

Duties

• build Cytronex kits including installing PCBs and testing.
• Use various types of electronic and handheld equipment including welding battery packs ( training given)
• Interpret technical schematics, diagrams, and documents in English.
• Maintain records for traceability, QC for example
• Assist in development and testing protocols towards product enhancement
• Ensure compliance with safety standards
• Manage stock control to ensure productivity targets are maintained
• Flexibility and desire to expand knowledge and get involved in other areas

Experience

• Proven Manufacturing experience as an Electronics Technician
• Strong mechanical knowledge relevant to electronic device assembly and repair
• Proficiency and efficiency in soldering, and other mechanical and electronic tasks
• Experience working with computers/spreadsheets etc
• Ability to read competently in English, and interpret schematics, technical diagrams, and manuals accurately.
• Demonstrated skill in repair, maintenance, and troubleshooting processes.
• Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail. Pay: £12.71-£14.25 per hour

Expected hours: 16.0 – 40.0 per week
