Electronics Technician

We are looking for a Fire Protection Technician to join our team. This role involves the installation, testing, inspection, maintenance, and repair of fire protection systems, especially FDAS systems, ensuring compliance with the Fire Code of the Philippines (RA 9514) and applicable NFPA standards. The ideal candidate has hands-on technical experience or is willing to be trained in all Fire and Life Safety Systems.

Responsibilities:

1. Assist in the installation and servicing of fire protection systems, including:

• Water-based fire protection systems
• Special Suppression Systems
• FDAS Systems
• Smoke Control Systems
• Fire Pump Systems

2. Conduct Ongoing Maintenance:

• Perform regular maintenance on existing Fire and Life Safety Systems to ensure proper operation.
• Conduct inspections and tests to verify system functionality and compliance with safety regulations.

3. Troubleshoot and Resolve Issues:

• Troubleshoot and repair faulty components or systems.
• Determine the best course of action for equipment modifications and repairs to ensure optimal performance.
• Prepare basic checklists and field reports
• Coordinate with engineers and project teams during technical site works

4. Support Advanced Systems:

• Work with advanced Fire and Life Safety systems, including integration with other safety systems.
• Stay updated on the latest technologies and best practices in fire and life safety.

Qualifications:

• Graduate of a vocational or technical course (Electrical, Mechanical, or related field)
• At least 1 year of experience in fire protection or related field preferred
• Fresh graduates or career shifters are welcome to apply and will be trained
• Knowledgeable or willing to learn NFPA standards, RA 9514, and system components
• Familiar with basic electrical and mechanical tools
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and blueprints.
• Physically fit and willing to travel or be assigned on-site
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
• Relevant certifications and licenses are a plus.
