Electronics Technician-Intermediate

Summary:

This position is the primary role for the sustainment of C5ISR equipment on Army Vessels. This position is for an intermediate level position for someone with a goal of achieving a senior electronics engineer.

Responsibilities:

Essential Job Functions:

• Will support general labor tasks with the goal of transitioning to a higher-level technician
• Sustainment support includes but not limited to the following systems:
• Electrical/Electronic connector fabrication & cableway
• Raytheon / Anschutz
• Sperry Marine
• NAVICO / SIMRAD
• SAAB R4-R5 AIS installation and programming
• Skipper speed log Installation and Maintenance
• Communications:
• Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

Necessary Skills and Knowledge:

• Must be detailed oriented and have good oral and written communication skills.

Minimum Qualifications:

• This position requires 4 years of technical education or experience in a technical field (preferably electronics).
• This position will be learning and supporting senior technicians in C5ISR equipment on Army Vessels.
• This position requires experience in one of the following areas; Marine Navigational Radars, satellite communication systems, integrated bridge systems, C5ISR equipment, or GMDSS.
• Must maintain secret security clearance and passport. Must service Army Watercraft World in locations worldwide.
• Must have an active Secret Clearance.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field

Pay and Benefits

The salary range for this position is $80,000.00 to $90,000.00 annually.
