Electroplating Lab Opportunity

Job Summary Full-time employee oppportunity with my precision electroplating client near Waterbury.

This is a M-F 1st Shift (6:30am-2:30pm), but there is also a 2nd (2:30-10:30) and 3rd shift (10:30-6:30) available. This is a direct hire (salary + benefits + 401k) opportunity.

$40-$52k depending on experience.

Responsibilities Conduct laboratory analyses, and ensure quality control across our barrel plating and continuous reel-to-reel plating operations (chemical baths). This role is vital to maintaining process stability, high product quality, and compliance with strict customer specifications.

Chemical Analysis & Bath Maintenance: Perform routine chemical titrations, prepare solutions/reagents, and monitor chemistry for electroplating lines to keep plating baths within operational limits.

Quality Control & Testing: Execute pH testing, conductivity measurements, and XRF thickness testing. Ensure compliance with ISO, ASTM, IPC, and MIL plating standards.

Safety & Compliance: Maintain laboratory logs, adhere to (EHS) procedures, and manage chemical storage and hazardous waste disposal.

Qualifications

• Familiarity with high-volume manufacturing environments.
