  3. Substrate Preparation: Clean, polish, and prepare substrates to be plated. Conduct visual inspections to identify any surface defects or imperfections that could affect plating quality.
  4. Plating Techniques: Utilize various electroplating techniques to apply coatings of different metals (e.g., nickel, gold, silver, etc.) to substrates. Adjust plating parameters to achieve desired thickness, adhesion, and appearance.
  5. Quality Control: Conduct regular quality checks and inspections of plated products to ensure they meet established standards for thickness, adhesion, surface finish, and overall quality.
  6. Troubleshooting: Identify and address any issues or anomalies that may arise during the plating process. Collaborate with maintenance and engineering teams to resolve technical problems.
  7. Safety and Compliance: Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines when handling chemicals, operating equipment, and performing electroplating tasks. Ensure compliance with environmental regulations and proper disposal of waste materials.
  8. Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of plating processes, chemical usage, inspection results, and any other relevant data. Complete required documentation and reports.
  9. Equipment Maintenance: Clean and maintain plating equipment, tanks, and tools to ensure optimal functionality and longevity. Report any equipment malfunctions or maintenance needs to the appropriate personnel.
  10. Team Collaboration: Work closely with fellow team members, supervisors, and other departments to coordinate production schedules, prioritize tasks, and ensure efficient workflow.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Strong commitment to safety practices and environmental regulations.
  • Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Flexibility to work on the 2nd shift schedule, including evenings and weekends if required.

Join our team as an Electroplater on the 1st, 2nd or 3rd shift and contribute to our mission of delivering high-quality products through expert electroplating techniques. Apply your chemical processing expertise to create exceptional finishes that meet and exceed customer expectations.
