Elementary Paraprofessional

Position: Full-Time, 10-Month School Year
Status: Open Until Filled

Stone Valley Community Charter School is seeking a caring, dependable, and flexible Paraprofessional to join our team! The successful candidate will work with classroom teachers to support students’ educational, behavioral, and daily needs while helping provide a safe, positive, and inclusive learning environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist teachers with classroom activities, routines, and student learning.
• Work with individual students and small groups to reinforce skills and support instruction.
• Assist with the implementation of IEPs, behavior plans, and interventions.
• Supervise students throughout the school day, including transitions, meals, arrival, and dismissal.
• Assist with student safety, personal care, and daily needs as necessary.
• Maintain student confidentiality and a positive, professional attitude.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Associate degree from a post-secondary institution OR Pennsylvania Paraeducator Credential of Competency designation of Highly Qualified.
• Experience working with children preferred.
• All required clearances must be current and on file with the school.
• Strong communication skills, patience, flexibility, and the ability to work collaboratively with teachers and staff.
