Duties

• Develop and implement comprehensive lesson plans aligned with curriculum standards across subjects such as literacy, math, science, social studies, and physical education.
• Foster an inclusive classroom environment that accommodates diverse learning styles and needs through differentiated instruction and adaptive teaching techniques.
• Monitor student progress regularly using assessments, standardized testing data, and performance metrics to tailor instruction and support individual growth.
• Manage classroom behavior effectively through positive reinforcement strategies and clear expectations to promote a safe learning space.
• Collaborate with fellow teachers, educational specialists, and administrators to develop curriculum initiatives, share best practices, and ensure compliance with educational regulations.
• Communicate regularly with parents and guardians regarding student achievements, challenges, and development plans to foster strong home-school partnerships.
• Integrate educational technology tools and learning platforms to enhance engagement and facilitate interactive lessons for young learners.

Requirements

• Proven experience teaching elementary school students in classroom settings with a strong understanding of childhood development principles.
• Demonstrated expertise in curriculum development, lesson planning, and curriculum implementation across core subjects including literacy, math, and science.
• Knowledge of special education strategies, including working with students with autism or other learning differences.
• Strong classroom management skills combined with behavior management techniques to maintain an organized learning environment.
• Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with colleagues and parent engagement.
• Ability to adapt teaching methods to accommodate various learning styles and individual student needs through differentiated instruction.
• Familiarity with educational technology integration, learning management systems, and digital resources to support student engagement.
• Experience working within private or public school settings is preferred; early childhood education or early intervention experience is a plus.
• Commitment to ongoing professional development in areas such as literacy education, childhood development, standardized testing preparation, and behavior management strategies.
