Elementary Science/S.S. Teacher

Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Elementary Science and Social Studies Teacher to join our Christian school community. The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering engaging lessons in science and social studies, fostering a positive learning environment, and supporting the academic growth of elementary students. This role requires a passion for teaching young learners, strong classroom management skills, and elementary school teaching experience.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans in science and social studies that align with curriculum standards.
• Manage classroom activities to create a safe, respectful, and engaging learning environment.
• Assess student progress regularly and provide constructive feedback to support their development.
• Incorporate Christian values into daily instruction and interactions with students.
• Collaborate with colleagues to enhance instructional strategies and school programs.
• Communicate effectively with parents regarding student progress and classroom activities.
• Maintain organized classroom environments conducive to active learning and student participation.

Qualifications

• Proven classroom management skills essential for maintaining an orderly and positive classroom atmosphere.
• Elementary school teaching experience, particularly in science and social studies instruction.
