Elementary Teacher (K-6)

Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Teacher to join our educational team. As a Teacher, you will play a crucial role in shaping the minds of young learners and fostering their development in a positive and nurturing environment.

Duties

• Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that align with the curriculum
• Provide a safe and supportive learning environment for students
• Assess students' progress and adjust teaching strategies accordingly
• Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and caregivers to support student learning and development
• Utilize various teaching methods to accommodate diverse learning styles
• Incorporate early childhood education principles into daily activities
• Foster literacy skills through interactive and age-appropriate activities
• Implement early intervention strategies to support students' individual needs

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or related field
• Previous experience working with preschool or toddler-aged children
• Knowledge of childhood development theories and practices
• Familiarity with Montessori or other alternative education approaches is a plus
• Strong understanding of child welfare and advocacy principles
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Passion for promoting literacy education among young children

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $15.00 - $20.00 per hour
