Elementary Tutor

We are currently seeking experienced and passionate tutors to join our team in providing high-quality educational support to students in grades K-6th. As a tutor, you will be responsible for creating and implementing lesson plans that cater to the individual needs of each student, providing regular progress reports, and helping students achieve academic success.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement lesson plans that align with student needs and goals
• Communicate regularly with students and their parents/guardians regarding progress
• Provide a safe and positive learning environment
• Help students complete homework and prepare for exams.
• Monitor student progress and make adjustments to lesson plans as necessary

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Must be a certified teacher in elementary education/reading OR hold a relevant degree (Education, English)
• Science of Reading Certification
• Experience tutoring in the areas of K-6th grade subjects
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to develop individualized lesson plans and implement them effectively
• Demonstrated passion for education and helping students succeed
