Who you are

• Bachelor’s degree required or equivalent experience
• 1+ years of Payroll experience required
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel. Advanced Excel skills including pivot tables, VLOOKUP, data manipulation, and analysis
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks effectively
• Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) certification is a plus
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment
• Demonstrate organizational and time management abilities
• Excellent decision-making, analytical, and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail
• A solid understanding of payroll compliance at the federal, state, and local levels
• Ability to communicate clearly with clients and provide excellent customer service
• Ability to sit for extended periods: The role requires sitting at a desk or workstation for long periods, typically 7-8 hours a day
• Use of computer and phone systems: The employee must be able to operate a computer, use phone systems, and type. This includes using multiple software programs and inquiries simultaneously

What the job involves

• This role is responsible for supporting client implementations with a strong focus on data migration, validation, and test payroll execution
• This role involves collaborating closely with Sales, Data Conversion, Implementation, and Managed Services teams to ensure successful project outcomes and identify opportunities for additional services
• The consultant plays a key role in onboarding client data, driving projects to completion, and ensuring go-live dates are met
• Collaborate internally with Sales, Implementation, and Managed Services teams to ensure successful project outcomes
• Drive projects to completion, ensuring go-live dates are met
• Play a key role in onboarding client data during the implementation process
