Elevator Electrician

The Elevator Electrician is responsible for the installation, electrical wiring, testing, troubleshooting, repair, and preventive maintenance of elevator and lift electrical systems. The position ensures that elevators operate safely, reliably, and efficiently in accordance with company procedures, electrical standards, and applicable safety regulations.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform electrical installation and maintenance of elevator control panels, motors, relays, contactors, sensors, switches, lighting, alarms, and related equipment.
• Troubleshoot electrical and control-system problems and identify the root cause of equipment faults.
• Conduct preventive and corrective maintenance on elevator electrical systems.
• Inspect electrical components, wiring, control systems, and safety devices for signs of wear, damage, or malfunction.
• Test elevator electrical circuits and safety systems using appropriate testing instruments and tools.
• Read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, control diagrams, and technical manuals.
• Assist in elevator installation, modernization, replacement, and commissioning activities.
• Comply with company safety policies, electrical safety procedures, and applicable elevator safety requirements.
• Willing to travel
