Job Summary

Team Safety Consultants LLC is looking for a motivated and technically competent Elevator Engineer to join our inspection team. The candidate will be responsible for carrying out elevator inspection, testing, and technical evaluation while ensuring compliance with applicable safety standards, regulations, and client requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct inspection and testing of passenger elevators, goods lifts, service lifts, and related vertical transportation systems.
• Inspect mechanical, electrical, and safety components of elevators.
• Check elevator machines, ropes, sheaves, brakes, guide rails, doors, interlocks, safety gears, limit switches, and emergency systems.
• Identify defects, unsafe conditions, and technical non-conformities.
• Carry out functional and safety tests as required.
• Prepare inspection reports, checklists, and technical documentation.
• Recommend corrective actions for identified defects and non-compliances.
• Review relevant technical documents, maintenance records, drawings, and certificates.
• Ensure inspections are conducted according to applicable UAE regulations, international standards, and company procedures.
• Coordinate with clients, facility management teams, contractors, and elevator maintenance companies.
• Maintain accurate inspection records and submit reports on time.
• Follow company HSE procedures and maintain professional conduct at client sites.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics, or Elevator Engineering.
• Ministry of Education (MOE) Equivalency Certificate for degree qualification is required.
• 2–3 years of relevant experience in elevator inspection, testing, maintenance, commissioning, or engineering.
• Good understanding of elevator mechanical and electrical systems.
• Knowledge of elevator safety standards and UAE regulatory requirements.
• Ability to read and understand technical drawings and electrical schematics.
• Good technical reporting and communication skills.
• Experience in third-party inspection is an advantage.
• Relevant elevator inspection or safety certification is an advantage.
• UAE driving licence is preferred.
