Elevator Installation Manager

About the role

A Multinational Company is seeking an experienced Elevator Installation Manager to lead our installation operations in Metro Manila and Central Luzon. This is a full-time position that offers a unique opportunity to oversee the planning, coordination, and execution of elevator installation projects across the region. As Elevator Installation Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring that all installations meet our high standards of quality, safety, and customer satisfaction whilst managing teams, budgets, and timelines effectively. This role is integral to our operations, directly impacting project delivery and client relationships.

Key responsibilities

1. Plan, coordinate, and supervise all elevator installation projects from inception through completion, ensuring adherence to timelines and budgets
2. Lead and manage installation teams, including technicians and support staff, providing guidance, training, and performance feedback
3. Ensure compliance with all safety regulations, building codes, and industry standards throughout the installation process
4. Conduct site inspections and assessments to identify potential challenges and develop mitigation strategies
5. Coordinate with clients, architects, engineers, and contractors to ensure seamless project integration and communication
6. Monitor project progress and prepare regular reports on installation status, costs, and any issues requiring escalation
7. Manage inventory and procurement of elevator components and equipment to optimize project delivery
8. Investigate and resolve any installation defects, customer complaints, or quality concerns in a timely manner
9. Maintain detailed project documentation and ensure all records are properly filed and accessible
10. Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and support the development of best practices within the installation department

What we're looking for

1. Minimum of 7-10 years' experience in elevator installation, maintenance, or related engineering fields
2. Proven experience managing installation projects and leading technical teams in a managerial capacity for at least 5 years.
3. Comprehensive knowledge of elevator systems, components, installation procedures, and industry standards
4. Strong understanding of building codes, safety regulations, and compliance requirements relevant to elevator installations
5. Excellent project management skills, including the ability to manage multiple projects concurrently whilst maintaining quality standards
6. Demonstrated proficiency in budget management, cost control, and resource allocation
7. Exceptional leadership and communication abilities, with the capacity to motivate and develop team members
8. Problem-solving mindset with the ability to address technical challenges and resolve issues efficiently
9. Proficiency in using project management software and relevant digital tools
10. Valid driver's license and willingness to travel within the Metro Manila and Luzon region
