Job Summary

JIL Lifts & Escalators Cont. LLC is looking for a skilled and experienced Elevator Technician to join our team in Dubai. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in elevator maintenance, troubleshooting, repair, and servicing.

Key Responsibilities

* Carry out preventive maintenance and routine servicing of elevators and escalators.

* Attend breakdown and emergency service calls.

* Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, and control-system faults.

* Perform repairs, adjustments, and replacement of elevator components.

* Inspect safety devices and ensure elevators are operating safely and efficiently.

* Read and understand electrical drawings, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals.

* Identify faults in controllers, drives, motors, door systems, sensors, and safety circuits.

* Maintain proper service records and submit service reports.

* Coordinate with supervisors, customers, and other team members at project sites.

* Follow company procedures, site requirements, and UAE safety standards.

Requirements

* Minimum 2 years of experience as an Elevator Technician / Maintenance Technician.

* Hands-on experience in elevator maintenance and troubleshooting.

* Good knowledge of electrical and mechanical elevator systems.

* Ability to read electrical drawings and technical documentation.

* Experience with major elevator brands is an advantage.

* Knowledge of elevator safety systems and maintenance procedures.

* ITI / Diploma in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering is preferred.

* UAE driving license is an advantage.

* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

* Good communication and problem-solving skills.

* Willingness to work on-site and attend breakdown calls when required.
