Job Summary

Responsibilities

• Support senior technicians in the installation, maintenance, and repair of elevator systems, including hydraulic and electrical components
• Assist with reading and interpreting electrical schematics, technical drawings, and engineering troubleshooting documents
• Use hand tools and mechanical knowledge to perform routine mechanical systems repairs and adjustments
• Help troubleshoot elevator issues by following established procedures and safety protocols
• Participate in field service activities such as inspections, testing, and emergency repairs to ensure elevator safety and compliance with building codes
• Maintain accurate documentation of work performed, including service reports and technical logs
• Contribute to maintaining a safe work environment by adhering to all safety guidelines and regulations

Experience

• Basic mechanical knowledge with familiarity in using hand tools for repairs and adjustments
• Some electrical experience, including reading electrical schematics and interpreting technical drawings
• Exposure to hydraulic systems, electrical systems, or industrial maintenance is preferred
• Experience in building code compliance or engineering troubleshooting is a plus
• Prior customer service experience is beneficial for interacting professionally with clients during field visits
• Demonstrated ability to work safely in a field service setting with attention to detail and adherence to safety standards
