Elevator Testing Technician | Up till $2,400 basic + AWS + Bonus + OT

• Up till $2,400 basic + AWS + bonus + OT (salary will commensurate according to experience & qualifications)

• Location: Kaki Bukit Crescent

• Working Days/Timings: 5 days, Monday – Friday, 8:00AM – 5:45PM

Responsibilities:

• Carry out testing, adjustment and commissioning of Mitsubishi elevators and escalators.
• Conduct thorough inspections and functional tests to ensure all equipment is safe and fit for public use.
• Perform testing and verification in accordance with Mitsubishi Elevator’s procedures, quality standards and applicable Singapore regulations.
• Identify and report abnormal conditions, defects or faulty components for further investigation, rectification or replacement.
• Prepare and complete test reports, inspection records and other required technical documentation accurately and within the required timelines.
• Work closely with installation, maintenance and engineering teams to resolve technical issues identified during testing and commissioning.
• Ensure all testing activities are carried out in accordance with the required workplace safety procedures and PPE requirements.
• Assist with other testing, commissioning and technical duties as assigned by the supervisor or management.

Requirements:

• Minimum NITEC in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Engineering, Building Environment (Vertical Transportation), or an equivalent qualification.
• 2-4 years’ experience in the lift, escalator, building services or engineering industry.
• Willing and able to work at height and wear the required safety PPE.
• Able to safely handle and move heavy equipment when required.
• Willing to learn and follow established technical, quality and safety procedures.
