Job Description

We are looking for an experienced ELV Design / Project Commissioning Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in ELV system design, technical documentation, project execution, testing, commissioning, and handover.

The candidate will be responsible for coordinating ELV projects from the design stage through installation, testing, commissioning, and final handover, while ensuring compliance with project specifications, approved drawings, applicable standards, and client requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and review ELV system designs, hand sketch drawing, layouts, schematics, and technical documentation.
• Work on ELV systems such as:
• CCTV
• Access Control
• Structured Cabling
• Intercom
• Public Address / Background Music
• SMATV/IPTV
• Audio Visual systems
• Gate Barrier / Parking Management
• Master Clock and other low-current systems
• Basic IT Configuration
• Coordinate with consultants, clients, contractors, and other project teams.
• Review project specifications, BOQ, drawings, and scope of work.
• Conduct site inspections and coordinate ELV installation activities.
• Prepare testing and commissioning procedures and documentation.
• Perform system testing, troubleshooting, configuration, and commissioning.
• Coordinate with suppliers and system integrators for technical support and system integration.
• Prepare method statements, inspection requests, testing reports, and handover documentation.
• Attend technical meetings and provide project progress updates.
• Ensure ELV works are completed according to approved drawings, specifications, quality requirements, and project schedules.
• Identify technical issues and coordinate corrective actions.
• Support final testing, snagging, client demonstrations, and project handover.

Requirements

• Bachelor's/Diploma in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Telecommunications, or a related field.
• 3–6 years of relevant experience in ELV design, project execution, testing, and commissioning.
• Valid UAE Driving License is mandatory.
• Strong understanding of ELV systems and project requirements.
• Experience preparing and reviewing ELV shop drawings and technical submissions.
• Hands-on experience with testing, commissioning, troubleshooting, and system integration.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and BOQs.
• Good communication and coordination skills.
• Ability to work independently as well as coordinate with project teams.
• UAE/GCC project experience will be an advantage.
• Candidates who can join within a short notice period are preferred.
