ELV Draughtsman

1. Prepare detailed ELV shop drawings using AutoCAD in accordance with approved design drawings, project specifications, and applicable standards.
2. Prepare layouts and installation drawings for CCTV, access control, structured cabling, data and telephone systems, intercom, public address (PA), and audio-visual systems.
3. Prepare containment layouts, cable routing drawings, equipment layouts, riser diagrams, and schematic drawings.
4. Develop system block diagrams, wiring diagrams, and installation details as required.
5. Coordinate ELV drawings with electrical, HVAC, plumbing, firefighting, architectural, and structural drawings.
6. Identify and resolve drawing clashes and discrepancies in coordination with engineers and other MEP teams.
7. Revise drawings based on consultant comments, site conditions, and approved design changes.
8. Prepare as-built drawings based on actual site installations.
9. Ensure drawings comply with project specifications and applicable UAE regulations and authority requirements.
10. Coordinate with ELV engineers, site engineers, and installation teams.

Desired Candidate Profile

1. Diploma or technical qualification in Electrical, Electronics, or a related engineering field is preferred.
2. Minimum 2–5 years of experience as an ELV Draughtsman in MEP or building construction projects.
3. Proficiency in AutoCAD is essential; Revit knowledge is an advantage.
4. Good knowledge of ELV and low-current systems, including CCTV, access control, structured cabling, intercom, and public address systems.
5. Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and project specifications.
6. UAE/GCC project experience is preferred.
7. Good coordination skills and attention to drawing accuracy.
