ELV Site Engineer (Hands-on)

We are looking for an experienced, hands-on ELV Site Engineer with proven UAE project experience in CCTV, Access Control, Structured Cabling, and related ICT/ELV systems.

The ideal candidate should have strong technical skills, good English communication abilities, and practical knowledge of UAE site procedures and SIRA requirements.

Key Responsibilities

▪ Installation, testing, commissioning, and maintenance of ELV/ICT systems, including:

▪ CCTV and Security Systems

▪ Access Control Systems

▪ Structured Cabling (Copper & Fiber)

▪ Network & Communication Equipment

▪ Server Room Infrastructure and Network Rack Installation

▪ Supervise and provide hands-on support for cable pulling, containment, termination, labeling, and testing.

▪ Perform CCTV/ACS configuration, commissioning, and troubleshooting.

▪ Coordinate site activities with Main Contractors, MEP teams, Consultants, and subcontractors.

▪ Review and follow ELV drawings, method statements, and technical specifications.

▪ Handle site inspections, HSE/PTW coordination, and quality control.

▪ Prepare daily progress reports, RFIs, inspection requests, and handover documentation.

▪ Support SIRA compliance requirements, including inspections and approval coordination.

▪ Supervise installation quality, materials, tools, and site housekeeping.

Qualifications

Mandatory

▪ Minimum 3 years of UAE ICT/ELV project experience.

▪ Good spoken and written English, with the ability to communicate independently on-site.

▪ Strong hands-on experience in CCTV and Access Control installation, configuration, and commissioning.

▪ Good knowledge of Structured Cabling (Copper & Fiber), network equipment, and basic networking.

▪ Familiarity with UAE construction site procedures, HSE/PTW, and inspections.

▪ Knowledge of SIRA regulations, CCTV installation standards, and approval procedures in Dubai.

▪ Ability to read and understand ELV drawings, shop drawings, and BOQs.

▪ Diploma or degree in Electrical, Electronics, Telecommunications, IT, or a related field.

Preferred

▪ Valid SIRA Engineer certification is highly preferred.

▪ Experience with SIRA-compliant CCTV projects, inspections, and approvals.

▪ Experience in server room/data center cabling and infrastructure installation.

▪ Familiarity with Fluke cable testers, fiber optic splicing machines, and common ELV installation hand tools.

▪ Experience with Hikvision, Dahua, and common Access Control systems.

▪ UAE driving licence.

▪ Experience coordinating ELV technicians and subcontractors.

Pay: AED4,000.00 - AED5,000.00 per month
