Bachelor of engineering or Diploma in Electrical / Electronics / Instrumentation field or equivalent qualification

Skills Required

Display a sound knowledge of ELV installation.
Experience of safe working practices, risk assessments, method statements and permit-to-work systems.

Bachelor of engineering or Diploma in Electrical / Electronics / Instrumentation field or equivalent qualification

Experience (Years):

Minimum 5 years of related experience

Trainings/ Certification

Any vendor specific training for Network Equipments, Electrical pannels, CCTV, other ELV systems.

Brief Job Description

Relevant experience in the ELV, Installation, troubleshooting and maintenance of Network Active and Passive Equipments like Switches, Powersupply, Patch Pannels, Breakers, Circuit Breakers, Racks, Enclosures, CCTV, LV electrical pannels, Etc..

Prepare detailed engineering drawings, specifications, and plans for ELV systems.
Oversee the installation, testing, and commissioning of ELV systems to ensure compliance with project specifications and standards.

Perform routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on ELV systems.

Collaborate with project managers, clients, and other stakeholders to define project requirements and deliverables.

Conduct site surveys and assessments to determine project feasibility and scope.

Provide technical support and guidance to installation teams and subcontractors.

Ensure all ELV systems comply with relevant codes, standards, and safety regulations.

Prepare and submit technical reports, documentation, and project updates to stakeholders.

Stay updated with the latest technologies, industry trends, and best practices in ELV systems

Interprets work using electronic schematics, wiring diagrams, and underground street intersection prints.

Test equipment and related devices to identify defects in electric, electronic, and communication equipment.

Installs, repairs, and maintains equipment and related devices.

Installs, services and repairs all related electrical ITS Feeder Pillers and Service cabinets, electrical panels, outlets, and wiring.

Testing power disconnection, frequent power issues and rectification.
Installation of temporary generators at site.

Operates a variety of electrical testing equipment in locating and determining types of electrical malfunctions.

Operates power hand tools and other specialized electrical equipment.

Reads and interprets electrical/electronic circuit diagram. Able to construct and maintain service equipment.

Installs conductors, splices cable, builds terminations and does necessary hook-up for primary power lines.

Dismantle and install Feeder pillars for any accidents and maintenance work.
