Job Overview

We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented ELV Technician to install, test, commission, and maintain our Extra-Low Voltage systems. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience handling building automation, low-voltage security networks, and communication infrastructure to ensure all equipment runs safely and efficiently across our local projects. We are open to hiring both motivated fresh graduates looking to start their careers and experienced senior professionals.

Job Description

• Install, terminate, test, and label copper (Cat6) and fiber optic cables for all structured cabling networks.
• Configure, test, and commission field devices for CCTV cameras, Access Control systems, and Intercoms.
• Set up and align SMATV/IPTV satellite dishes, amplifiers, receivers, and distribution splitters.
• Perform routine preventative maintenance, inspect systems, and troubleshoot technical faults on hardware.
• Work with network switches and routers to connect low-voltage equipment securely to central server racks.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings, electrical layouts, and technical schematic blueprints.
• Adhere strictly to local Civil Defense codes, electrical safety standards, and company health protocols.
• Maintain clean technical records, including daily task logs, cable testing results, and tool inventories.
• Coordinate effectively with site engineers, project managers, and client maintenance teams.

Required Skills & Experience

• Strong technical knowledge of standard security systems (CCTV, Access Control, Gate Barriers, and Intercoms).
• Proficiency using technical infrastructure tools (cable termination kits, Fluke testers, and multi-meters).
• Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Pay: AED2,000.00 - AED3,000.00 per month
