Embedded AI Engineer

Meiji Health Tech is developing robotic rehabilitation bed for bed-ridden patients who have required much effort from caretakers. We aim to design an AI-driven medical equipment to monitor patient effortlessly, to acquire patient information and to alert caretaker timely.

We are seeking a highly skilled and visionary Embedded AI Engineer to lead our technical development of robotic rehabilitation robotic bed. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for the entire product lifecycle, from AI research and architectural design to hands-on hardware/software development and team leadership.

Job Requirements

• Lead AI technology research, transformation, and application. Define the overall technical architecture, roadmap, and conduct system design evaluations for our robotics projects.
• Oversee the R&D of unconstrained intelligent in-bed health monitoring systems and robotic training assistants. Manage and track development progress across structure, electronics, drive systems, and software teams, mitigating risks on critical paths.
• Conduct research on key component data acquisition and application technologies. Develop and implement core software algorithms and code.
• Mentor, coach, and develop a high-performing technical team, fostering a culture of continuous skill improvement and development efficiency.
• Participate in product definition, project reviews, and make key decisions regarding external technical partnerships.

Qualifications

• Master degree or higher in a relevant field.
• Proven experience in medical devices, consumer electronics, or IoT.
• Mastery of embedded hardware/software design on platforms such as DSP, ARM, FPGA, and MCU.
• Deep understanding of AI, big data, and cloud computing technologies.
• Strong foundation in analog/digital circuit design, with extensive circuit analysis, debugging, and component knowledge.
• Ability to independently build embedded software frameworks, write code, and perform hardware-software co-debugging.
• Proven track record of leading successful technology development and innovative product R&D.
