Mentee Robotics, now part of Mobileye, brings world-class robotics expertise, together with Mobileye's decades of leadership in computer vision, machine learning, and autonomous driving technologies. Building on that foundation, Mentee by Mobileye is creating the "MenteeBot", the AI-first humanoid robot that combines perception, reasoning, learning, and advanced dexterous manipulation, designed to work alongside people in their everyday lives, at the workplace and in the home. At Mobileye, our technologies power more than 230 million vehicles worldwide and have helped shape the future of autonomous mobility. With teams around the world, we continue to innovate at the forefront of autonomous systems, advancing the next generation of Physical AI for real life.

We are looking for an experienced BSP Software Engineer to join our Software Engineering group. In this role, you will take ownership of our Board Support Packages (BSPs) and be responsible for carrier board bring-up, device driver engineering and integration (including custom BSP adaptation), and managing the OS foundation for our perception, control systems, and core software. Additionally, you will partner closely with NVIDIA on integrating new hardware platforms. This is a senior-level individual contributor role.

Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end bring-up of new carrier board revisions and customize third-party BSPs for carrier boards, including kernel, device tree, and peripheral driver development.
  • Develop, integrate, and maintain device drivers for cameras, IMUs, motor controllers, and custom hardware peripherals.
  • Diagnose and resolve complex driver issues spanning the hardware, kernel, and userspace boundary.
  • Collaborate closely with NVIDIA and external partners to drive new board integrations and architect next-generation platforms.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or practical experience of an equivalent scope.
  • 3+ years of proven experience in C programming for real-time embedded linux systems.
  • 3+ years of hands-on experience in BSP customization, board bring-up, and driver development under RTOS / Linux.
  • Strong debugging, driver issue resolution, and hardware integration skills.
  • Experience working with NVIDIA Jetson platforms (e.g., Thor, Orin, Xavier) and JetPack SDK.
  • Proficiency in spoken technical English.
