Embedded Firmware Engineer

Position Overview

AeroCharge is seeking an Embedded Firmware Engineer to develop and support firmware for our wireless power systems. The engineer will work closely with our mixed-signal, antenna, mechanical, and systems engineering teams to implement and integrate embedded systems.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain microcontroller firmware using C/C++.
• Implement real-time embedded software and complex algorithms.
• Work cross-functionally with hardware, antenna, mechanical, and systems engineers to define and implement requirements.
• Interface with embedded hardware using SPI, UART, I2C, JTAG, USB, and BLE.
• Debug, test, and optimize firmware and embedded systems.
• Communicate progress, technical findings, and issues to the engineering team and management.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of embedded systems and C/C++.
• Experience with real-time embedded software development.
• Coursework or experience in communication systems and digital signal processing.
• Experience implementing complex algorithms.
• Familiarity with SPI, UART, I2C, JTAG, USB, and BLE.
• Ability to debug and troubleshoot hardware/firmware systems.
• Familiarity with FPGAs and VHDL is a plus.

Education & Experience

• B.S. in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or equivalent experience.
• Senior engineering student or recent graduate.
• Relevant internship, research, or project experience is a plus.

Compensation: $20–30/hour

Schedule: Part-time (20 hours per week) or Full Time

Pay: $20.00 - $30.00 per hour
