Embedded Linux & Firmware Developer

We are seeking a Senior Embedded Systems Engineer with experience in embedded Linux platforms and real-time microcontroller firmware development to join our Power Supplies development team.

Tasks

• Bring up and maintain embedded Linux platforms.
• Customize Yocto-based Linux distributions, including recipes, images, toolchains, and production configuration.
• Configure and optimize U-Boot, boot-time behavior, firmware update mechanisms, and secure-boot features.
• Develop and debug Linux kernel modules and device drivers for I2C, SPI, UART, USB, Ethernet, and other product-specific peripherals.
• Develop and maintain real-time control firmware for digital power-conversion systems, including AC/DC, DC/DC, inverter, or related topologies.
• Implement deterministic voltage and current control loops on TI C2000 devices using ePWM, ADC, CMPSS, DMA, interrupts, and CLA where applicable.
• Collaborate with hardware engineers during prototype board bring-up, board validation, signal verification, and production testing.
• Diagnose system-level issues using JTAG, oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, power analyzers, trace tools, and software debuggers.
• Develop automated tests and document firmware architecture, interfaces, and bring-up procedures.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
• 6+ years of professional embedded systems experience.
• Strong C programming experience in bare-metal or embedded environments.
• Experience with hardware bring-up, debugging, and laboratory measurement equipment.
• Experience with at least one of Yocto, U-Boot, and Linux device drivers / Embedded Linux BSP development / Digital power control with real-time microcontrollers
• Familiarity with Git, code reviews, debugging, and structured software development practices
