Embedded Linux Developer

Key Role Clarifications:

• Primary Focus: High-level application development using C++ and Docker. (Low-level Yocto/BSP is secondary).
• Protocols Required: Experience/working knowledge of Modbus, BACnetIP, Modbus-TCP, TCP/IP, HTTPS, WebSockets, and MQTT. (Note: DNP is not required and can be skipped).

Summary:

We are looking for a Firmware Engineer with 5+ years of experience in C/C++ application development on Embedded Linux. The core focus is high-level application logic, industrial protocol integration, and containerization.

Responsibilities & Key Requirements:

• Develop high-performance applications using C/C++ in an Embedded Linux environment.
• Implement industrial communication protocols (Modbus, BACnetIP, TCP/IP, HTTPS, WebSockets, MQTT).
• Deploy and manage applications using containerization tools (Docker/Kubernetes).
• Strong foundation in Linux OS concepts, multithreading, data structures, algorithms, and design patterns.
• Basic familiarity with Yocto build systems, kernel concepts, and device drivers.
• Hands-on experience in troubleshooting and debugging complex firmware issues.
