POSITION OVERVIEW

Pacer Staffing is seeking an Embedded Linux Software Engineer to join our client's engineering department in Andover, MA. Reporting to the Engineering Manager, this professional will augment an internal team of 7+ software engineers to develop robust medical device applications. The successful candidate will solve critical firmware and software integration challenges to deliver against sprint commitments and program increment objectives.

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Design, develop, and debug hands-on C/C++ software for multi-threaded embedded Linux environments.

• Troubleshoot and integrate multiple hardware interfaces, such as PCIe, CAN, I2C, SPI, UART, and USB.

• Develop and debug user interfaces using the Qt framework on Linux platforms.

• Build, test, and maintain automated scripts using Python, Lua, or Shell scripting for tooling and validation.

• Collaborate with external contractors, review technical deliverables, and contribute to sprint increments.
