Embedded Linux Software Engineer

Job Summary

We are looking for an Embedded Linux Software Engineer with strong experience in Embedded Linux, C/C++, and IoT technologies. The candidate will be responsible for developing embedded applications, integrating Zigbee/BLE solutions, validating IoT products, and performing protocol analysis, debugging, and testing across device, gateway, cloud, and mobile ecosystems.

Responsibilities

• Develop Embedded Linux applications and middleware using C/C++.
• Work on IoT devices, gateways, and cloud-connected products.
• Develop and validate Zigbee, BLE, Matter, and Thread-based solutions.
• Perform functional, integration, regression, and system testing.
• Analyze network traffic using Wireshark and tcpdump.
• Validate MQTT, TCP/IP, HTTP/HTTPS, Wi-Fi, and related protocols.
• Develop Shell/Bash scripts for automation and validation.
• Perform root cause analysis and troubleshoot software defects.
• Support OTA updates, device onboarding, provisioning, and security validation.
• Work with QEMU, Zephyr RTOS, and virtualization/emulation platforms.

Mandatory Skills

• 8+ years of Embedded Linux experience
• Strong C/C++ programming skills
• Experience with IoT devices and protocols
• Zigbee and/or BLE development experience
• MQTT, TCP/IP, Wi-Fi knowledge
• Linux command line and Shell scripting
• Wireshark, tcpdump protocol analysis
• Git, Jira, Azure DevOps exposure
• QEMU/Zephyr RTOS experience preferred
