Embedded Software & Systems Engineer

Are you passionate about embedded technology and the future of connected, software-defined vehicles? We are looking for experienced engineers and specialists for multiple consulting assignments within embedded software, verification, DevOps, engineering applications and product cybersecurity.

Whether your strength is low-level ECU development, HIL and vehicle verification, CI/CD and releases, application engineering, AI-enabled tools or cybersecurity, we would like to hear from you. You do not need experience in every area—we will match your profile to the assignment where you can make the greatest impact.

WHAT YOU COULD WORK WITH

• Embedded platform and control software: ECU architecture, C/C++, Python, microcontrollers, RTOS, AUTOSAR, boot software, drivers, MATLAB/Simulink and target-hardware debugging.

• Verification, diagnostics and deployment: SIL/HIL, rigs, labs and vehicles; CANoe/CANalyzer, CAPL/Python, CAN/LIN/Ethernet, UDS, test automation, regression and SWDL/OTA.

• Configuration, release and DevOps: Git workflows, CI/CD, Jenkins, GitLab/Bitbucket, Artifactory, embedded build systems, packaging, baselines and traceability.

• Applications, interfaces and engineering AI: C#/.NET, Kotlin, Python, APIs, containers, Android, cross-platform solutions and LLM-enabled engineering workflows.

• Cybersecurity and technical leadership: security architecture, TARA, PKI/TLS/HSM, threat modelling, ISO/SAE 21434, UN R155, functional safety and cross-functional technical leadership.

WHAT YOU BRING

• Professional experience in at least one of the specialization areas above.

• A hands-on engineering mindset and strong problem-solving skills across software, hardware and systems.

• Experience from automotive, commercial vehicles, embedded products or another safety-critical environment is highly valued.

• Clear English communication and documentation skills, with the ability to collaborate in Agile, cross-functional teams.

• A relevant BSc/MSc or equivalent practical experience.

LOCATION & WORK MODEL

Opportunities are primarily based in the Gothenburg area, with selected assignments in Eskilstuna. Several roles require regular on-site work in an office, lab, rig, vehicle or factory environment.
