Embedded Software Developer

Embedded Software Development

• Solid experience in embedded software development using C/C++
• Experience with ARM CortexM microcontrollers (ideally Nordic
  nRF52/nRF53)
• Familiarity with RTOS (e.g. FreeRTOS, Zephyr especially relevant for
  Nordic/Thread)
• Proficient with build systems and toolchains (CMake, GCC, SEGGER
  tools)

Wireless & IoT Technologies

• Experience with low-power wireless technologies, especially:
  o Thread (preferred) / IEEE 802.15.4
• Knowledge of Thread stack (e.g. OpenThread) is a strong advantage
• Understanding of mesh networking and IP-based communication in
  embedded systems
• Experience with Nordic SDK / nRF Connect SDK

Communication Protocols

• Strong knowledge of:
  o CAN / CAN-FD
  o Ideally experience in implementing or integrating CAN stacks
• Experience with:
  o Protocol gateways / protocol conversion
  o Mapping data models between different communication systems
• Additional protocol knowledge is a plus:
  o TCP/IP, UDP
  o MQTT or CoAP

System Understanding

• Ability to design system architectures and define interfaces
• Experience with:
  o Real-time requirements
  o Memory and power optimization
• Basic understanding of embedded security (secure boot, OTA updates,
  encryption)
