Embedded Software Electrical Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot embedded systems and machine connectivity issues.
• Investigate telematics service tickets and dealer escalations.
• Read and interpret electrical schematics.
• Diagnose communication issues involving J1939, Ethernet, and Modbus.
• Perform root cause analysis and recommend solutions.
• Collaborate with engineering, product support, dealers, and customers.
• Use test equipment and technical data to investigate problems.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• 1–2 years of experience; internships are acceptable.
• Basic C/C++ programming and embedded systems knowledge.
• Electrical troubleshooting and schematic interpretation skills.
• Knowledge of J1939, Ethernet, and Modbus protocols.
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and customer-support skills.
