About the Role

The SoC Infrastructure team currently has an opening for an embedded software engineer focused on device driver development at the hardware/software interface.

Key responsibilities include:

• Development and support activities for a range of low-level device drivers directly controlling hardware (e.g., digital clocks, voltage regulators, GPIOs, interrupts).
• Close collaboration with hardware designers to understand, improve, and implement hardware/software interfaces.
• Working comfortably across both hardware and software domains.
• Writing low-level software in C running on a range of ARM and DSP-based processors.
• Developing automation and tooling in Python.

Minimum Qualifications

• 1 to 5 years of experience in embedded software development.
• Strong proficiency in C.
• Solid experience with Python.

Preferred Qualifications

• Lauterbach Trace32/JTAG debugging.
• Knowledge of ARM and/or RISC-V architecture.
• Experience with power management software.
• Familiarity with specialized mobile/SoC architectures and chipset products (MSMs, MDMs, etc.).
