Embedded Systems/Firmware Engineer

Location - Fremont, CA

We are looking for candidates with hands-on embedded product development experience, strong C++ skills, working ability in C#, and system-level troubleshooting capabilities.

Mandatory Requirements

• 5+ years of relevant development experience , with strong C++ skills and working ability in C# .
• Embedded product development experience.
• System-level troubleshooting and root cause analysis .
• Hands-on development or modification of on-chip and on-board peripheral drivers , using interfaces such as I2C, SPI, UART, GPIO, ADC, PWM, and timers.
• Experience with multithreading, synchronization, device communication protocols, and version control tools such as Git .
• Basic understanding of controls theory and closed-loop systems , through practical experience or relevant coursework.
• Relevant engineering degree and the ability to clearly explain product functionality, personal contributions, and technical decisions.

Preferred Skills

• Programming experience in C .
• Experience in semiconductor equipment, mechatronics, robotics, or industrial automation.
• Experience with ARM-based controllers, RTOS, and bare-metal firmware.
• Basic knowledge of motors and their operating principles , through coursework or practical experience.
• Exposure to motion control, sensors, actuators, and feedback devices.
• Familiarity with oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, multimeters, and JTAG/SWD debugging tools.
• Experience with unit testing and hardware–software integration testing.
