Embedded Software Engineer – Linux/BSP

Experience: 3–6 Years
Location: Coimbatore / Bangalore

Role:
Develop and integrate the Linux-based platform for a multi-camera AI edge device using Raspberry Pi 5 / Hailo-based hardware.

Key Responsibilities:

• Linux BSP bring-up, system configuration and hardware integration.
• Integrate and validate NIC, NVMe, TPM, watchdog, thermal and PCIe devices.
• Support Hailo runtime/driver/firmware and hardware video acceleration.
• Develop systemd services, watchdog and service recovery mechanisms.
• Support Linux security hardening, firewall and least-privilege configuration.
• Implement/support signed OTA updates, rollback and system recovery.
• Develop system health monitoring, logging and diagnostics.
• Debug kernel, driver, hardware and system-level issues.

Required Skills:

• Strong C/C++ and Embedded Linux.
• Linux kernel, device drivers and BSP.
• Systemd, Bash/Python scripting and Linux debugging.
• Ethernet, PCIe, NVMe, TPM and watchdog.
• Git and GDB.
• Experience with Raspberry Pi or similar ARM-based platforms.
• GStreamer / V4L2 / hardware acceleration is a plus.
• Hailo experience is a strong plus.
