The recruiting company Our client is a European start-up specializing in electronic warfare and precision localization in the defense sector, currently building a complete team across several locations.

Key points of the position Reporting to the CEO and CTO, you will contribute to the development of military-grade embedded systems.

As an Embedded Software Engineer, your missions will include:

• Analyzing functional requirements and contributing to technical specifications
• Designing and developing embedded software in C language
• Developing hardware drivers to interface electronic components (MCUs)
• Implementing communication protocols and optimizing timing performances
• Debugging embedded firmware and serial interfaces (SPI, I²C, UART…)
• Supporting integration, testing, and debugging phases
• Contributing to embedded developments linked to an ecosystem of precision localization technologies, including UWB-based systems (no prior UWB experience required)

Necessary skills

• With a background in electronics or embedded systems, you have at least 5 years of experience in a similar role
• You are proficient in embedded C development (STM32, ESP32, etc.)
• You know how to debug serial interfaces (SPI, I2C, UART…)
• Familiarity with cryptography, TrustZone, or data fusion is considered a plus (but not required)
• Fluent English is imperative

A defense clearance will be necessary for this position. You must have a European Union nationality.

Salary 75-85k euros gross annual
