Required Skills & Experience

• Active Secret Security Clearance. - Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Software Engineering, or related technical discipline. - Minimum 5 years of experience in test engineering, systems engineering, software testing, verification & validation, or a related engineering role. - Experience executing test procedures and documenting test results. - Experience analyzing test data and generating technical reports. - Ability to interpret engineering specifications, requirements, and technical documentation. - Strong written and verbal communication skills. - Experience supporting cross-functional engineering teams and project leads.

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

• Experience with LabVIEW software development or model updates. - Experience with IBM DOORS requirements management tools. - Experience supporting qualification, certification, verification, or validation programs. - Background supporting defense, aerospace, government, or other highly regulated engineering environments. - Familiarity with systems engineering processes and requirements traceability.

Job Description

We are seeking a Test Engineer to support the D425 S1B PCM qualification and certification program. This individual will work closely with project leads and technical engineering teams to support software testing, validation, and documentation efforts. The ideal candidate will have experience executing test procedures, analyzing results, interpreting software requirements, and working within a structured engineering environment. Responsibilities - Update and maintain LabVIEW software models to support testing and qualification efforts. - Review, groom, execute, and maintain test scripts and test procedures. - Capture, document, and track test results. - Analyze test data and provide detailed findings and recommendations. - Create and maintain technical documentation related to testing activities. - Read, interpret, and understand software functional requirements. - Communicate testing status, risks, and progress updates to project leads and stakeholders. - Collaborate with project engineers and technical leads to support ongoing qualification and certification efforts. - Participate in an initial familiarization period and rapidly transition into active testing support.

Compensation:

$65/hr to $75/hr.

Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.
