Embedded Systems Fault Tracing & RCA Engineer

Are you an expert in automotive diagnostics and embedded system troubleshooting? We are looking for a Fault Tracing and Root Cause Analysis (RCA) Engineer to maximize uptime for an evolving test fleet of heavy vehicles. You will dive deep into system communication and software behavior to pinpoint issue origins. In this role, you'd might need to rotate across Lundby, Hällered, Arendal.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform advanced fault tracing and Root Cause Analysis (RCA) on complex embedded system issues.
• Analyze bus communications and diagnostic logs using tools such as CANoe and CANalyzer.
• Document findings, assign issue ownership, and track resolution through Jira.
• Support continuous vehicle fleet uptime to ensure rapid engineering turnaround.

Requirements:

• Several years of hands-on experience in fault tracing and RCA on complex embedded automotive systems.
• Expertise in diagnostic and CAN bus analysis tools (CANoe, CANalyzer or equivalent).
• Familiarity with heavy truck architectures (TEA2+ is highly advantageous).
• Fluent in issue documentation using Jira and Confluence.
• C or CE driver’s license, Linux experience.
• Work permit in Sweden.
