Embedded Testing Engineer

Job: Embedded Test Engineer

Year of Experience: 1.5+

Location: HCMC

Key Responsibilities:

Support the COM FnD team in implementing customer requirements for the COM stack, including:

• Development of new requirements.
• Software updates and maintenance.
• Documentation of changes.
• Develop and maintain automated test scripts for COM testing.

Perform both manual and automated testing of the COM stack in:

• HoL (Hardware-open-loop) environments.
• HiL (Hardware-in-the-Loop) environments.
• SiL (Software-in-the-Loop) environments.

Prepare delivery materials, including:

Software documentation.

Test reports.

Advanced Responsibilities (depending on capability):

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze customer requirements.
• Analyze software issues and propose appropriate solutions.

Requirements:

Must have:

• Solid knowledge of C/C++ programming .
• Understanding of automotive communication protocols: CAN, LIN . Knowledge of FlexRay and Automotive Ethernet is a plus.
• Strong debugging skills in embedded systems.
• Good English communication skills.

Nice to have:

• Knowledge of Python programming
• Familiarity with MISRA C guidelines (MISRA C:2012) and ability to apply them in embedded software development is a plus.
• Ability to read and understand technical documents (device datasheet, schematic design, …etc.).
• Hands-on experience with microcontrollers, including Registers, peripherals, interrupts, memory types (RAM, ROM, Flash, EEPROM).
• Familiarity with other communication protocols: I2C, SPI, UART.
• Basic knowledge of automotive standards and protocols: UDS, OBD, WWHOBD, J1939, XCP, and related ISO standards (ISO 11898, ISO 14229, ISO 15031, ISO 22901, ...etc.).
• Good understanding of AUTOSAR architecture with hands-on experience in COM Stack modules.
• Familiarity with CAN tools (e.g, Vector hardware, CANalyzer, CANoe, …etc.).
