Embroidery Assistant

About the role

Operate and monitor embroidery machines and equipment to produce quality embroidered items according to approved designs and production specifications.

Key responsibilities

• Operate and monitor embroidery machines and equipment
• Prepare, set up, and load fabrics, garments, threads, and other materials for embroidery
• Follow approved embroidery designs, patterns, and production specifications
• Ensure proper thread colors, placement, sizing, and alignment of designs
• Inspect finished embroidered items to ensure quality and accuracy
• Identify and report machine malfunctions, defects, or production issues
• Perform basic cleaning and routine maintenance of embroidery machines and work areas
• Meet daily production targets and deadlines
• Assist with packing, labeling, and preparing finished products for delivery or distribution

About you

• MUST BE WILLING TO RELOCATE TO AUSTRALIA FOR THIS POSITION
• Must be a College Graduate
• Experience in embroidery, garment production, or a related field is an advantage
• Knowledge of operating embroidery machines is preferred
• Detail-oriented with good hand-eye coordination
• Able to follow instructions, designs, and production specifications accurately
• Responsible, reliable, and able to work independently or as part of a team
• Able to meet production targets and deadlines
• Willing to work overtime when necessary
