Embroidery Machine Operator

Responsibilities

• Set up and calibrate embroidery machines according to design specifications and production requirements
• Accurately hoop and prepare garments for embroidery
• Operate multiple embroidery machines efficiently, ensuring smooth workflow and minimal downtime
• Inspect finished products for stitching accuracy, quality standards, and dimensional measurements, making corrections when necessary.
• Maintain cleanliness and safety standards in the workspace by following safety protocols during machine operation and materials handling.
• Monitor machine performance during operation, troubleshooting issues promptly to prevent delays
• Follow detailed work instructions and production schedules to meet deadlines

Experience

• Prior experience operating embroidery or sewing machines in a manufacturing or warehouse setting is a required
• Understanding of garment construction techniques and sewing machine operation is highly advantageous
• Ability to handle various fabric materials safely and efficiently while maintaining high standards of craftsmanship.
• Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes and understanding of quality standards in production to ensure consistent output that meets client specifications.
• Warehouse experience is a plus, demonstrating ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Strong attention to detail, manual dexterity, and the ability to follow precise instructions
• Ability to troubleshoot machine issues quickly and effectively
• Basic computer skills
