Part Time (Path to Full Time)

About the Company

Jobtown Graphics is a custom screen printing, embroidery, and large format print shop built for fire and police departments. We're firefighter owned and operated, and everything we produce- patches, challenge coins, apparel, decals, and signage, goes to the men and women who serve. We're weeks away from closing on a new building in East Northport that will let us grow production, bring more equipment in house, and expand what we offer the first responder community.

About the Position

You'll run day to day production: large format printing, printed apparel, and embroidery. You'll work closely with the owner and have real input as we build out the shop. This role starts part-time with a clear path to full time as workload grows and you prove yourself in the role.

What You'll Do

Large Format Printing: Set up print files, run our large format printers, laminate, cut, pluck, sort, and ship finished stickers, decals, and signage.

Printed Apparel Check in and sort incoming garments, cut DTF rolls, and heat press apparel using a commercial grade press. Work at a steady pace to keep orders moving, then sort and ship completed pieces.

Embroidery prep garments and hats, hoop and load the machine, and monitor runs on our commercial-grade Barudan embroidery machines (6-head and single-head). Handle routine maintenance like thread changes and cleaning.

What We're Looking For

We want someone motivated and hungry to learn a trade from the ground up, comfortable multitasking in a fast paced shop, and genuinely excited to be part of building something new. You'll often be running production on your own, so we're looking for someone focused and self-directed, not someone who needs to be watched to stay on task. You'll be trusted with most of our day to day production, so we need someone reliable who takes ownership of the work.

Required Qualifications

• Reliable and punctual; this role requires consistent, scheduled attendance
• Comfortable multitasking and working at a fast pace under deadlines
• Prior work experience (any field)

Preferred Qualifications

• Screen printing experience is a plus; we're planning to bring screen printing in house in the future

Schedule

Weekday schedule, no weekends. Part time to start, 25 to 29 hours per week on a consistent, set schedule (not sporadic or on-call). Full time hours available as the shop grows and based on performance.

Compensation

$17.00/hour to start. Rate goes up with experience
