JOB DESCRIPTION & WORK CONDITIONS

Position Summary
The Embroidery Machine operator is responsible for the production of embroidered textiles. This person must be able to work with single and multiple head embroidery machines. You would be responsible for following written orders regarding placement, thread color, size of embroidery, etc. The Embroidery Machine Operator reports directly to the Store Manager.

We are willing to train if you are willing to learn! Position requires a positive attitude, close attention to detail, dependable and consistent attendance, and ability to work in a fast paced environment to set-up and operate a commercial embroidery machine.

Strong interpersonal skills, excellent verbal and written communication skills. Must be able to maintain speed and efficiency with little supervision. Committed to excellent customer service. Strong Basic Computer Skills: Comfort with the internet, MS Office, E-Mail and the ability to learn additional computer programs. Expectations are to support and adhere to all company policies, procedures and guidelines.

BREAK-DOWN OF JOB DUTIES:

Learn the entire embroidery process including:

• Basic Computer Skills.
• Ability to effectively and comfortably communicate with co-workers.
• Time management and organizational skills.
• Ability to operate under pressure and time constraints.
• Be comfortable on your feet for the duration of your shift.
• Be able to lift up to 50lbs.
• How to thread the machine
• Trouble shoot small machine problems
• Hoop garment and find center of hoop
• Trim garment and re-hang or fold garment
• Job would require 4-7 hours daily of embroidery machine work, paperwork and iFont Software design work.
• Proof paperwork making sure the invoice, the work

order and the embroidery print out all match

• Pull data off of computer on to memory stick for embroidery machine

Additional Duties & Order Fulfillment Duties:

• Design custom embroidery stitch files per order, setting up names/title, merging with logo
• Work with customer service and the digitizer to facilitate new logo development, including obtaining price quotes, confirming all details such as size, colors and placement on garment, sew out logo and send for approval
• Assist with editing of logos
• Work with production manager and customer service to schedule embroidery
• Packing orders for shipment
• Generating shipping labels using UPS World ship and a similar program for USPS Priority Mail labels
• Organizing inventory
• General warehouse duties

COMPENSATION

• Salary is based on experience.
