Embroidery Machine Operator

We are a young fast paced eCommerce company, supplying Healthcare uniforms in the UK, Ireland, France, Germany and Spain.

We wish to recruit an enthusiastic and hardworking Embroidery Machine Operator. This role will be temporary role for 5 months to cover a person on leave. The role will be 39 hours per week. Our embroidery product is a bespoke service for our customers to add logos or names to their scrubs. This job is for someone with at least 2 years experience. You will be working on multi head tajima embroidery machines using Autograph software.

Responsibilities:

• A keen eye for detail.
• Embroidery machine operation.
• Set up and run multi-head embroidery machines across a wide range of garments: polos, hoodies, jackets, caps, bags and more
• Processing embroidery orders on Shopify.
• Hoop garments accurately and choose the right backing, topping and needles for each job
• Load designs, set thread colours and check sew-outs before running full orders
• Spot and fix problems quickly: thread breaks, puckering, registration issues and bobbin changes
• Quality-check finished pieces and trim, clean and prepare them for packing
• Work through the production queue in priority order to hit dispatch deadlines
• Carry out routine machine cleaning, oiling and basic maintenance, and flag bigger faults early
• Computer skills.
• Excellent communication skills with fluent written and verbal English.
• Capable of working on own initiative.
• A team player with strong attention to detail and a sense of pride in a job well done.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: €15.00-€17.00 per hour
