EMBROIDERY OPERATOR

RJ Roberts & Company is a growing apparel and promotional products company specializing in branded apparel, embroidery, screen printing, DTF, and custom decoration. We are looking for a dependable and detail-oriented Embroidery Operator to join our production team.

JOB SUMMARY

The Embroidery Operator is responsible for operating commercial embroidery equipment and producing high-quality embroidered apparel and promotional products according to customer specifications and production schedules.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Operate commercial embroidery machines safely and efficiently.
• Set up machines and prepare garments and products for embroidery.
• Properly hoop and position garments for accurate embroidery placement.
• Load embroidery designs and make basic machine adjustments.
• Monitor embroidery machines throughout production.
• Inspect completed products for quality, accuracy, and proper placement.
• Trim excess thread and complete basic finishing work.
• Identify and report production or equipment issues to the supervisor.
• Follow production schedules and meet daily production goals.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
• Perform basic cleaning and routine maintenance of embroidery equipment.

Follow company quality, safety, and production procedures.

• Work with team members to ensure orders are completed accurately and on time.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Previous embroidery or apparel production experience preferred.
• Experience operating commercial embroidery equipment is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Ability to work in a fastpaced production environment.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Dependable attendance and punctuality.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks.
• Ability to lift and move production materials as needed.
• Willingness to learn new equipment and production processes.

Experience is preferred, but we are willing to train the right candidate.
